HD
How can you ensure you DON'T get shows in HD? I have not selected HD for any of my programs and I still get 30% of them in 720.
How can I stop this?

Hi Steve,
TVShows has a timeout, after which if it hasn't found the preferred version it downloads whatever is available, so you don't miss any episode. The only way to avoid it is customizing the timeout (18 hours by default), you can find how in our knowledge base.
However, I think your case is strange because usually the timeout works for people who want HD (some shows are not always published in HD so if there was no timeout, they would miss some episodes... but SD is almost always published). Can you give us some examples of shows that were downloaded in HD and send us the log (About tab -> View logs, please paste the content into a text file and attach it to the message) so we can take a look? Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Attached are logs showing 720 files being used due to no other being found. I have deleted entries where it was just looking but nothing found.

Hi Steve,
I see that the 720p downloads are all from last Sunday, and it not only downloaded the HD version but the SD too. This was due to The Pirate Bay moving to the cloud last week, for about 5 days their torrent links were broken (that's why there are so many "unable to download" lines in the log) and when they fixed it on Sunday, TVShows suddenly started to download all the missed episodes, but it downloaded both versions because the timeout had been reached for most of the shows.
This was a "one time" issue (we hope: we don't know what TPB plans are about torrent files, they've made it pretty clear that they prefer magnets, but they still host torrent files). If you're not using the "save each show in its own folder" feature, you may consider switching to magnets, as they always work even if TPB is down or unreachable.
