Just a suggestion that I couldn't see listed.

Allow users to share custom shows / pipes with a 'tvshows' file format that you can just double click and auto subscribe to that show/pipe. This would allow the community to create TV shows that can be subscribed to by novice users rather than the complexity of adding shows manually. Some sort of community of shared user-created TV Show 'pipes' that can be ranked by users would help keep the bad pipes out and the good pipes in and anyone could just download the file and open in in TVShows and auto subscribe.

Would hopefully save you the hassle of manually adding shows, and you might even be able to get the original uploaders to include a 'pipe' file with their downloads too.
