filtering of file formats

My TV/DLNA streamer does not support MP4 files encoded by various particular sources - in this case ASAP/mp4 files don't work, but ASAP.avi files do. Often, I get the non-working formats downloaded or some shows, which result in me having to manually search and download a working version.

Is there any current way to filter the filenames or formats (via regex or some such) that will get picked up from the various RSS feeds so I don't have to do this? Or make this an "advanced option" in a future version of the app?

excellent job on the app otherwise. thanks!

    Hi ineedapp,

There's no option to "prefer" avi files, and we don't plan to add it anytime soon, sorry. The preset list has what most of our users need: the most popular torrents from the most popular uploaders. And since a year and a half ago the scene decided to change the standard to mp4, they have become the most popular (thus, the most seeded). Actually, we don't filter results by file type, so the preset list feeds may contain avi files from time to time, but it isn't the standard anymore.

If you want avi files, you can find a TPB user that still uploads avi and create a custom feed, here's how.
