When I add a new show and request to start from a certain episode, it immediately downloads the torrent files for every single episode that's released since then, which is an overload. It creates a lot of dialog boxes that I then need to close, and the files take up space on my HD till I actually view them, which is much later, especially if I'm starting to watch a show from the pilot when its on its 4th season already.

It would be handy to be able to limit the app to download say 2 (user configurable of course) new episodes each day, and only download the first 2-3 episodes when you initially add a show.

    Hi Neil,

The thing is, TVShows is not aimed at downloading past episodes or seasons. If you're starting to watch a show from the pilot when it's on its 4th season, you better go to The Pirate Bay and download the first three seasons (they are probably available season by season instead of episode by episode, and they will download faster) and then subscribe in TVShows from the first episode of season 4.

We don't guarantee past episodes to work (sometimes they are deleted after a while...), they are in the feed "as a reference", they are useful for catching up with a couple episodes but not for downloading entire shows. So adding an option to distribute downloads is not on our roadmap, sorry.
