Would like option to select AVI over MP4 format for downloads.
The mp4 files being downloaded are not playing nice with my Apple TV. The Apple TV hangs as soon as I start playing one of these. Would like an option in TVShows to selected the preferred file format (AVI versus MP4 for instance), so that it downloads the selected format if available. Now, whenever a show is downloaded in an MP4 format, I have to go search for it manually and download the AVI version of the same show.

Hi Timon,
The scene has agreed to use that format, that means that the most popular uploaders are already using mp4 instead of avi, and since their uploads are the ones with more seeds, they're also the ones that download faster, that's why we use them in the standard list.
That's why we can't add an option in TVShows to download avi over mp4. In fact, TVShows can download both (there are some less popular shows that are still released in avi, but they'll eventually switch to mp4), it downloads a file based on the quality (SD or HD) and the user (popular trusted sources), not the extension.
If you prefer avi files, you will need to find users in The Pirate Bay that still release shows in avi and use the custom show feature.
