Any way to fork this to work for other media formats?

TV Shows is such a great program, and makes everything so easy, having it for films, comic books, etc., would be fantastic. Is this a doable thing, does anyone know?

    Hi CVB,

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your suggestion. I don't think it's doable because each scene works differently, for TV Shows it's really easy because there are certain popular uploaders (EZTV, TVTeam...) who carry most shows, there's a naming convention (episodes are numbered by season and episode order) so TVShows can "know" if a file goes before or after another one and the episodes are usually available just a few hours after they are aired. Films are not so predictable, but also the concept of "subscribing" makes no sense because there will only be one download for each film (the film itself).

Please read this discussion for some alternatives.
