Who can I set the app up so it automatically downloads episodes that have already been aired?

    Hi João,

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand your question, what did you mean exactly?

    • If you mean to download past episodes in bulk, the only way is selecting which episode you want to start the subscription when you subscribe to that show.

    • If you mean to download past episodes by hand, you can click on the arrow in that episode row in the episode list for that show.

    • If you mean to not download past episodes, TVShows should detect if the episode is an old one. Regrettably, in new subscriptions some episodes may be wrongly downloaded from time to time.

    Cheers!

In the TVShows log (About tab) you should see what is happening, but TVShows should warn you if the episodes couldn't be downloaded.

You can unsubscribe to that show and resubscribe to download those episodes, though.

Even wheel I click in the arrow nothing happens. I use OSX 10.7 and uTorrent, is that a problem?

Mmm, did TVShows download anything for you? Can you please send me a screenshot with your TVShows preference panel?

Ok, I see the problem: you need to check the option "Abrir automaticamente cada ficheiro descarregado" so that the .torrent file is opened in your torrent downloader.

This options is set by default, so you must have change it :P

    Cheers!

Qual o motivo para a aplicação não organizar as séries em pastas quando tenho a opção "Priorizar ligaçoes magnet" activa?

    Hi Joao,

The way TVShows works now, the folder is created, the .torrent is placed in that folder and then calls your torrent downloader to download it. So that your torrent downloader knows the folder where the episode were.

The problem is that, since you are using "links", your torrent downloader doesn't know where to download it because there is no initial .torrent file to specify where the download must go.

In the end, that means that both options are incompatible, as explained here.

It world be nice if I add an option to auto delete the .torrent files after the download is complete

If you use Transmission, you can select the preference in Transfers->Adding->Trash original torrent files. I think it is selected by default in Transmission, but other programs will also have that option.
