Newbie questions - no downloads

So I downloaded TVShows, selected a few shows bit nothing downloads. So then I went to rssfeed and selected the shows, selected Add Custom RSS, copied the feed link... nothing. Then went to Piratebay and did the same yet nothing ever downloads wither on Transmission or uTorrent. MBP running 10.8.5

   Further info. Yes, I tried to circumvent the blocking as mentioned into FAQs but nothing. I also added feeds from RSS (does that work)?

   It appears that TVShows has past its glory days and doesn´t work for many anymore. Maybe get you´re shows some other way I guess. Feel free to fiddle around with with though and tell us if you gt TVShows to work!

   Thanx. I tried a few more tricks which didn't work so I just deleted the program and installed Catch. Sorry to see TVShows die...
