choose the type of file that TV shows downloads

Is there any way to stop TV shows from downloading a specific file type?

Most of the time the app decides to download the files in an MKV format. This format plays fine on the computer but is incompatible with devices like playstation.

It would be nice to have the ability to choose a more universal file.
