Missing Episodes!

Hello there and thank you for such an excellent application for my mac. Since I am a new user and not 100% sure on how the software works I was hoping that you could answer my question in the hope of improving my results.
Whilst searching for a few of my favorite shows, which I intended to create subscriptions for, I noticed that in the "start subscription from" there was occasionally missing episodes from the results which I obviously wanted to fill. For example, I could see episodes 1,2,3,4,5 and then they would jump to 7 and then 9 (just an example). If I wanted to start my subscription from the missing episode 6 and then also fill the missing episode 8 afterwards how could I accomplish this? I logged into TVDb with the belief that the apps databases were synched there and I would be able to manually add these missing episodes however TVDb was fine and this was not the case. If there is a user contributed databases that is used to add or edit episode lists / names then is it possible for me to do this? As I said previously, I have absolutely how the app works as I am not a coder in any way but I would be eternally grateful if you could assist me with a method to contributing to the completion of some of these missing episode listings. Once again, thank you for such an excellent application, I cant wait to hear your reply. All the best and thanks for listening.
