How to stop TV Shows from downloading compressed video files?

There are a few shows that I'm subscribed to that choose to download a compressed .rar file of the episode. This is a slight nuisance because of instead of it being ready to watch and in my library when it's downloaded I have to go in and extract the file and do that maintenance and whatnot. Is there a way to restrict TV Shows from downloading compressed files?
