How to make TVShows prefer certain uploaders and trackers?
I use TVShows and would like to somehow allow it to prefer and download from EZTV, etc before it choses others. It is of my own preference, and I'm able to get 720p episodes that are all same format and relatively small file size. I selected for TVShows to download in HD and I'm getting some episodes the size of 400MB, others 1.38GB and in avi, mp4 and mkv files.
Is there a solution for this?

Also, I cannot for the life of me get any episode information for most shows. The list shows up as blank when adding one and I only have the option of starting on the next-aired episode. Refresh buttons and application quitting does not work, only deleting the subscription, then TVShows and reinstalling.

Hi Connor,
The preset list uses different trusted sources, EZTV is among them but it isn't limited to it. In fact, EZTV has little content in HD, so if you want HD, TVShows will mostly use other sources. Also, TVShows has a timeout, after which if the preferred version (HD in your case) hasn't been uploaded by our sources, it will download whichever version is available (that's why you may get .avi and .mp4 files even when you selected HD). More information on the timeout and how to personalize it in our knowledge base.
If you want to limit the sources to EZTV you will need to add your shows as custom RSS instead of using the preset list, as explained in our knowledge base.
Blank episode lists can happen from time to time and it has nothing to do with the application, so reinstalling is not necessary. This happens when the feeds are not available, usually they go back up again after a while so you just need to wait.
