Download automatically
Love the app but is it possible to automate the whole process so the app combined with utorrent automatically downloads the episodes and has them ready to watch when you wake up? Now it "only" open the torrent file which leaves some manual work.

Hi Martin,
I don't understand. TVShows should open the torrent file with utorrent and then utorrent should download it, automatically. If TVShows launches utorrent but utorrent doesn't automatically download the episode you should check utorrent options... I'm not familiarized with this app so I can't tell you where to look, sorry.
If you are referring to other post-processing tasks, such as renaming, converting for iTunes, etc., we plan to include automatic post-processing features in version 3.0 (sorry, no ETA yet), we can't do that in the current version.

Hi Cristina,
I am using Transmission, and I have the same problem Martin said in his post above. Is there a setting I can change for it to download automatically?
If you could provide any assistance in this regard it would be much appreciated.

As Christina pointed out, it was a utorrent problem. I had the "Start downloads automatically" checked but apparently it wasn't enough since I also found the option "Display window with torrent details" checked. As a result, instead of starting the download, it only opened the torrent details window. By unchecking "Display window with torrent details" the downloads starts automatically now.

Hi Iana,
Please read this article from our knowledge base that explains how to configure Transmission so it doesn't display a confirmation window.
Martin, glad it's solved.
