I know you made a change to have the program download .MOV which is fine, but my apple TV handles .AVI files better is there a place I can change it to find avi's instead or a feature added to let the user pick AVI vs MOV.

    Hi Michael,

TVShows doesn't download .mov files, it (usually) downloads .mp4. We didn't made that change, the scene did. Since then, the most popular downloaders have already switched to the new format, and TVShows has adapted to that (in fact, TVShows doesn't check the file extension... that's why some less popular shows are still downloaded in .avi).

If you still want to download .avi files, you will need to find .avi sources and add your shows as custom feeds. We have a knowledge base article on how to create a feed from a The Pirate Bay search.

By the way, my Apple TV (2nd generation) handles TVShows .mp4 files quite fine ;)

Thank you for the response. My 2nd gen atv does to but I use a 1st gen with 3terrabite drive as a media server for tv shows etc and the hardware just struggles to run ill try the custom rss.
