Automatic checking for new episodes freezes
I have only started to have this problem the last few weeks or so.
When i check to see if new episodes have been downloaded or not, i notice in the top menu bar icon for TVSHOWS2 that the checking for new episodes is greyed out, and that the last check happened a while ago (sometimes a day, sometime 12 hours, sometimes 2 hours) although i have it set to check ever 30 minutes, it just seems like it stalled during the automatic checking process.
Once i open the preference pane for the app, it automatically "wakes" and does a fresh check, and downloads all the missed episodes without me doing anything else.
What could be the problem?

Can you send us the log? It's in the About tab -> View logs.
