Why does TVShows not work at all anymore?
I've posted several times before but have not point blank asked this question.
Why does TVShows no longer work *at all*?
I can't even manually download those few shows that DO appear in the application (using only a private tracker URL). When I do, I just get a dialog that says:
Cannot connect. Please try again later or check your internet connection.
My connection is of course fine, and I can download manually direct from the private tracker site without any trouble.
TVShows has not worked at all for at least 2 months, and worked very sporadically for 4-6 months prior to that. I've seen nothing from the developer - has the project been abandoned? Is there any further development happening with it? When it worked it was by far my favorite way to get content, and being without it is definitely a bummer to say the least.
Any response possible from the developer or someone in an "official" capacity, would be appreciated!

EZTV service has been taken over. TV app uses EZTV data.
Use custom settings to add feeds for shows.

I thought TVShows would download matching files from The Pirate Bay, not solely restricted to EZTV... Is that not the case?

This app is pretty much abandonware now - I'm surprised the web site is still up - TVshows2 is only useful for custom RSS feeds - its best to use CATCH and ShowRSS for the others.

Worked well for me yesterday!
Subscribed to a new show and almost instantly I had a boat load of responses.
Quite surprising since my other attempts have met with silence.
That said, it has been pulling down another show, one that I entered a couple of years ago, on a regular basis

Unfortunately the list of shows also doesn't seem to get updated. No idea where it pulls that info from.

Although not free do a google search for OTOMATIC - most if all the functionality is there. New replacement for the older Automatic app

I was wondering if it was just me - the application hasn't been really working all that well for the last couple of months for me. For example, the TV shows list not updating and now it doesn't appear to be downloading the latest episodes very consistently.

I had the impression that, sadly, the developers have quit with this application a long time ago.

Still downloading shows that I subscribed to fairly recently but the download list is getting weak. No updating
