New season of spartacus

Hi,

I added Spartacus to my list but I can't see any previous episodes. I'm not talking of "gods of the arena" but the second season that(s just started.

   Hi Charles,

   I'm afraid there's a series of weird circumstances which add up to not seing any previous episodes:

   • ettv uploaded episode 2x01 with "480p" included in the name, so TVShows "thought" this was the HD version.
   • sceneline uploaded episode 2x01 in HD but tagged it as "3x01" (I suppose they counted Gods of the Arena as the second season).
   • No other trusted user uploaded that episode to The Pirate Bay.

   So if you switch to HD in your subscription, you will see two episodes: "2x01" (ettv's 480p version) and "3x01" (sceneline's 720p version). You can download whichever you like ;)

   However, I don't know how TVShows will behave with future episodes, since it "thinks" that episode 3x01 has already aired... I alerted the developer and we'll see if we can do anything about it, but it's quite complicated because you can see it as one show with three seasons, three separate shows, or two shows (Blood and Sand + Vengeance and Gods of the Arena), every uploader takes a different convention and TVShows is not prepared to deal with strange cases like this :(

   Hi again Charles,

   We changed our feeds to use EZTV's uploads for this show, they have uploaded episode 2x01 in SD and HD (both tagged as 2x01), let's hope they keep it that way... if you don't see it correctly, please unsubscribe, refresh the showlist and subscribe again to the show.
