Problems in Singapore?

Hello to all,

Firstly let me say how much I have enjoyed this facility for just about a year now, and I have donated to show my support of it. THANK YOU!
Now... I have moved countries from China to Singapore. I can't get the app to work. I wanted to add a couple of shows, but it has been 'updating show information' for about 35 mins without a VPN, and for the last 40 minutes with my VPN. Is this normal, or is there an issue with using this app from Singapore?
I am in abotel right now; would this be a problem? I seem to be able to stream stuff though.

    Sorry... that should say 'a hotel', NOT 'abotel'.

    Toni - I've had that happen to me also. Seems to hang up on initial update. My solution was to turn it off (or restart the computer entirely if necessary) and try again. I don't think it should take that long and a restart works for me.
