The Add Show list doesn't show any series. Just Keeps spinning wheel with "Updating Show Information"

I had to uninstall and reinstall TVSHOWS yesterday. I uninstalled it properly using the uninstall option from the About tab. Now the list of shows to subscribe to remains blank, that screen doesn't have any shows listed and says "Updating Show Information..." with a spinning wheel.

I've confirmed that I can open the Pirate Bay website from the link on your site.

Here are the last several lines from the TVShows.log file. All of the lines in the log look like these.

Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Watching the Activity Monitor I can see the TVShowsHelper startup and then after about 2-5 seconds it just quits.

No firewall running. All ports open. Nothing in the /etc/hosts file except the default entries. Can browse to PirateBay just fine.

Got it! Removed / uninstalled the preference pane.

Created a new administrative user and install solely for that user. Went fine.

Switched back to my user account and installed it solely for me. All is hunky dory.
