Unable to Add Shows

As you can see from the attachment, all buttons relating to managing shows seem to be missing. I have already tried removing and reinstalling the preference pane. Also, please note that this is an instance of TVShows 2 running on Mavericks inside a Parallels 8 virtual machine. Please advise.

    Same problem here, but running inside VMWare Workstation 10

    I have found, however, that clicking where the buttons "should" be seems to work... just a huge pain in the rear!
