Cannot connect, please try again later or check your internet connection
Hi,
Episodes have not been automatically downloading for me for the
last few days, and when i try to manually download the episodes the
message "Cannot connect, please try again later or check your
internet connection" has been popping up.
I love your app so I hope you can help me figure out this issue.

Having the same problem. TVShows downloaded one show last night (Sun 16th at 10 PST, but nothing since, and same warning for attempted manual downloads; but I can download from Pirate Bay or EZTV with no problem.

My problem seems to have resolved itself, however when I was having the problem I was able to access pirate bay.

i can acess that as well but tvshows is not downloading new tv shows whe i pressed update in preferences I get update error occurred

Problem fixed. Searched deeper on this site and checked my firewall. Sure enough I had not allowed systems preferences.app and tvshowhleper.app access through firewall. All is working

Not fixed for me. No torrents can be downloaded, not even if FW is completely off.

I'm having the same issue/error message. The app has not consistently downloaded for weeks, rather spradic shows will download every now and then. This week nothing has downloaded. Pirate Bay works fine, tried magnetized just in case and nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing. No firewall issues.

Same problem here. Some shows downloaded as avi's but not HD. Piratebay is accessible.

Same thing. PB is accessible, but the Magnet Links option does not appear to have had any effect.
I did notice that the "Last checked" in the lower right has not updated, even though I forced a check.

Same issue. Sporadic episodes coming down but several that I know are out are not loading and access to Pirate Bay i9s good. Not fixed by magnetic linking either.

Is anyone trying to correct this fault? My custome RSS feeds work fine. Would it be better to replace any show with a link to the apps XML with a custom RSS feed? This would avoid problems like ?

I am having this exact same problem.
When I check the "prioritize magnetic links" box, I can download but my torrent program will not find more than 1 or 2 peers. When I uncheck this, I can not download at all. If I access pirate bay and manually download any torrent, I connect to around 60 peers and my download speed soars to around 2MB/s...
I have searched far and wide and can not find any solution to this issue. Thanks for any help you all can give
