Hi,

I am not sure if this is related to the recent issues mentioned in other threads so I am going to post it for comment. I have read and tried the recommended solutions here without success.

If you display a show it does not list the most recent episode for download, yet the "Last Downloaded" information shows yesterdays date. If you edit the subscription the RSS details show the most recent show. Since a picture is worth many words, I have attached two screen shots to help explain what I mean. This is occurring on at least 2 subscriptions.

I have removed the subscriptions, refreshed the show list, and re-added the subscriptions. No change. Not sure what to try next.

I think this is the end for TVdhows2. Everybody wanted too much features and now a simple download is not possible. For weeks I've been trying to download my favourite shows manually, for weeks I'm checking Tvshows2 for doing its job.... I give up, back to the manual downloads.... Please join me in letting this poor thing go........It is beyond hope....

Let's hope not, it is a great app and has worked very well most of the time.

    Hi all,

Sorry for the late reply. TVShows is not dead, but it is maintained by two people (the developer and me) on our free time so sometimes things get longer to be fixed. And as a user, I am subscribed to about 40 different shows so even with it's occasional fails, it's worth using TVShows.

Tim, regarding the screenshots, I should explain that each show has two different feeds: the one the app uses to automatically download the episodes (with only the most recent episodes) is the one displayed in the second screenshot; the other one has more past episodes, and it is what the app displays when you click on a show image. So it's possible that the "automatic" feed has been updated while the other one hasn't (yet), so you don't see the episode in the list but TVShows has already downloaded it for you.

I guess you were using magnets, because we were having issues with some magnet links and it fits what you describe (the episode appears as downloaded but it isn't). The issue has been solved now (it had to do with the feeds so no change is needed in the app) so new episodes should be automatically downloaded from now on. As for past episodes, we have to fix them manually so I don't know when they will work again (so you better download them from somewhere else, maybe you already have). Again, sorry for the inconvenience!
