Since the mass problem, some shows download, some don't, manual download option doesn't work

Since early this week the shows started downloading again. Awesome. Not all shows are downloading though. When I go to download them manual using the preference panel I cannot click the download option. Nothing happens. It doesn't click, doesn't download, no error. Nothing. I'm pretty sure I downloaded the newer build too. Again, like everyone else here, great app, you rock! :)

   I have the same problem as well!! I don't understand what went wrong? Also it seems that the app is downloading some shows in HD when I didn't choose that option. Then again I owe this app my life, thank you!

   Hey Hana, even though the prepane said the app was up to date I redownloaded TVShows again from their site and installed over it and now it works again. Try it out!

   Thanks Beck! I tried your suggestion but unfortunately it's still not working! The thing is some episodes get downloaded while others don't from the same show!

   Hi all,

   It seems some magnet links are broken, if you uncheck the magnet option it should work (not if your ISP is blocking The Pirate Bay, though). We'll look into it as soon as we can, sorry for the inconvenience.

   Same issue but I didn't have magnet priority checked. Got two versions of one show yesterday, then today I had 3 shows due, one downloaded fine, the other two did not download. I found them on tpb and downloaded them manually. These two episodes were listed in the subscriptions for those shows but didn't trigger a download. Person of Interest and Chicago Fire (in case it matters). If an episode is listed in the subscription area, is there a way to force it to download? Oh well, atleast the episodes are showing up now =). Thank you again for all the amazing work on this app!

   Found the download button on episode and it works, so just ignore that part of previous post. (Had to enlarge the screen so I could see it, ha!) Wondering why it didn't trigger automatically, though?

   I have the same issue. For example with New Girl, The Big Bang Theory and Boardwalk Empire. I cannot download the new episodes. I unchecked the magnet option but unfortunately my ISP is blocking The Pirate Bay. Is there any news when this issue will be resolved?

   Hi folks, I do not want to be annoying, I know from Maverick so far things have been difficult, but my application TVShows are going crazy! It turns out that it is now downloading things I did not ask, specifically old episodes of programs that are not listing the current episodes. It's a bit annoying, I think.

    Hi all,

    Sorry for the late reply. You're reporting different things so let's see if I can respond to all of them (please let me know if I'm forgetting something):

    • The issue with magnet links has been solved, so new episodes should be downloaded from now on. As for past episodes, we have to fix them manually so I don't know when they will work again (so you better download them from somewhere else, maybe you already have).
    • Lin B, there could be different explanations for the "episode in the list but not downloaded" thing, but since we have been having different issues at the same time, I'll put this on hold. If you experience it again from now on, please open a new discussion and send us the log (About tab -> View logs, please paste the content into a text file and attach it to the message) so we can take a look.
    • Fernando del Castillo, if it is still happening, could you provide more detail? Shows, episodes, quality... and also send us the log?
