[HELP] No Downloads
Hi,
Love this app! Used to have to spend hours every week keeping track of all the shows that came out, and manually downloading until I came across this beauty.
Everything has been working 11/10 with my plex server, until last week.
For some reason, no shows downloaded last week.
And on the list of shows (when you go into the setting and click on a show), each show appears to not show the last episode (the one that was released last week).
Don't know why it is missing an episode?
Is this something to do with my app, or were there no updates last week?

I believe everyone is having similar problems and that the developer is working frantically to fix the issue. You would know this is if you knew how to use forum based support. For more more information try reading this post:

Free software generally means one or two people, who have other obligations are running the whole show. Let's all be patient, supportive and grateful for their efforts! :)

Everyone's downloads were down for this past week or so. But all seems to be working now. Whooohooo! It warms my tv loving soul!

Not all .. at least mine are not working ... TV shows did update itself today to 2.1 (r631)
but no shows are downloading .. yet

mine isn't working either... i open it and it starts to check then dissappears... :(... ever since updated to maverick... :( hope theres a fix for it soon...

Coronation Street (2013) is not registering the latest episodes ....... and therefore is
not downloading !!!
Please fix this

I updated to 2.1 (r631) the other day and everything is running smoothly again. Maybe mine is working because I actually deleted TVShows the other day and then reinstalled. Worth a shot for those people that it's not working for.

But most importantly….. are you able to see/download - current Coronation Street stuff ????
I too update to latest version 2.1(r631) then deleted and resubcribed to several TV shows
all of which (cept coro) appear to operate as intended.
No mate, this is a Coronation Street problem - Reckon

Hi all,
Sorry for the inconvenience, we had a rough couple of weeks but now everything is back to normal, please read our blog post for more information.
If you don't see new episodes, refresh the show list (there's a button on the bottom left corner of the Add Show window).
Sarah, you should update to 2.1 (from within the app or download it from our website), it provides Mavericks compatibility ;)
As for Coronation Street (no need to yell, please), we need to look into that, this show used to be numbered by date but I see the last episodes in the feed have the standard season/episode numbering. The feed is not registering the season properly (it says season one but it is season 54, and the episodes are not correct either), probably because it's not usual to have seasons so high... and on top of that, it seems TVTeam (our source for this show) stopped uploading new episodes last may, so new episodes are not available. So this is a complicated issue, I'll add this to the developer queue so he can take a look as soon as he can.
In the meantime, you can add it as a custom show following the instructions from our knowledge base. Here's a feed with the latest episodes.

Hello Christina,
I don't think that yahoo pipe works correctly anymore. piratebay.se isn't an actual address anymore. It should be piratebay.sx. I've tried looking into adding that myself to the pipe, but have no idea on how to do it. Altering, or even creating, a pipe seems very complicated. If you could pass on to whoever manages the pipe about the sx address that would be great.

I just posted a working feed made with our Yahoo! Pipe. It is still working since the .se domaing redirects to the .sx one.

Your link (feed) to show latest episodes of Coro does not work for me ?
All I get is this error message; “No associated application could be found.”
I do hope you guys can resolve this problem and very soon…..
I’m a 63 y.o who is not too tech-savy. I have a wonderful and ever loving wife
who is giving me a hard time of late - because she has not seen recent episodes
of her beloved Coronation Street. (well not for more than two weeks now)
Living in Australia….. this otherwise fantastic App is our only opportunity to obtain
current Coro shows.

Hi Larry,
Safari used to support RSS URLs but now it doesn't, so if you click on an RSS URL it will not be able to open it and some kind of error like the one you post will appear.
You need to right click the "Get as RSS" link, then select the "copy link location" option (or something similar, I'm away from my Mac right now), and then paste it into TVShows as explained in the Knowledge Base article I posted earlier.

Sorry to disagree Christina, but when I search for Brooklyn Nine-nine it gives me this message: No pipe results for ThePirateBay Search Feed by User. Even though, it is shown on .sx here: http://thepiratebay.sx/search/brooklyn%20nine-nine/0/99/200
i wanted to make a custom setting since B99 doesn't show anything for the feed in TVShows.

Sorry Larry, that's the simplest explanation I can provide :(
hawk, the preset list feed for Brooklyn Nine-Nine has already been fixed. If you don't see the episodes in TVShows, go to the Add Show window and then click the refresh button on the bottom left corner.
As for the Pipe, are you searching "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" exactly? The aforementioned knowledge base article states, among other restraints: "The title field has to be the exact title that the show has in The Pirate Bay (so no apostrophes and things like that)." Most uploaders are using a space or a dot between the two "Nine", not a hyphen. I just searched for "brooklyn nine nine" with "eztv" as the user, and it returns episodes 1x09 and 1x10.

Yes, I searched for brooklyn nine-nine, not brooklyn nine nine, "brooklyn nine-nine", or "brooklyn nine nine". Knowing today's developers I've probably been using Macs, and even computers before you were even born. I also follow directions to a t, comes from being in the military. Now I tried this trick with Almost Human with the refresh button on the bottom left after clicking Add Show, but Almost Human is still showing nothing.
Although piratebay.sx shows all three eps so far: http://thepiratebay.sx/search/Almost%20Human/0/99/200, I added the link in hopes that it will be fixed. I went to the pipe and only episode 3 shows up although nothing shows up in TVShows itself.
And please, I hope I didn't come off as rude at the beginning. I was just explaining that I know how to search. Also I know that some people ARE extremely ignorant when it comes to computers. I tried teaching a former fiance to use a Mac and it took years. All she had used as a computer before that was a WebTV, remember that? When I was in college I soaked up how to use a Mac like a sponge. I even became the teachers aide quickly to the point that three months after starting the class I would answer any questions the rest of the class had if he had to leave the class for some reason.

I actually don't understand the beginning of your message... if you search for the show without the hyphen, do you still get no results?
As for Almost Human, I do see the episodes in my TVShows (and in the feed) but there's another user with the same issue you have, so I'm still trying to figure out what can be happening. Here's the corresponding discussion, I'd appreciate it if we would continue there for this matter.
The Yahoo! Pipe usually doesn't return all results, only the most recent ones.

first: thank you for everything, I really mean it: your work is outstanding.
second: after the bad week (couple of weeks ago), everything seemed fixed. But since yesterday I've seen some minor troubles:
How I Met Your Mother: no automatic download but I managed to get the last episode by clicking on the little arrow next to the episode in the episode list of the show.
New Girl: no automatic download again, but this time if i click on the little arrow, nothing happens.
Thank you and kindly excuse possible mistakes in my english!

UPDATE: after several hours, a growl notification has appeared comunicating that it was downloading a new "New Girl" episode. BUT! it didn't actually download anything...

Sorry for the late reply. We were having an issue with magnet links (some of them weren't working) but it has been solved now, so new episodes should be downloaded from now on. As for past episodes, we have to fix them manually so I don't know when they will work again (so you better download them from somewhere else, maybe you already have). Again, sorry for the inconvenience!

The System knows that new episodes are available..... but the displayed selections
are limited to those that are 8 mths old ?
