<p>Have you tried to manually download an episode? (click on a show
cover, then on the arrow icon next to any episode) If it shows a
connection error, then your ISP is probably blocking The Pirate Bay
(where we get most of our shows from) and you will need to activate
the "prioritize magnets" option in TVShows Preferences.</p>
<p>If it isn't the problem, please send us the log (About tab ->
View logs, please paste the content into a text file and attach it

the pop-up window if you follow the steps from the knowledge base
article I linked. When you say "the downloading does not start",
you mean after you click "ok" in the pop-up window? What do you
mean by "does not start", it is added to Transmission but stopped?
It's added but it has no seeds? It's added but it stalls at the
"red zone" (when using magnets, it takes a little longer to start
downloading because Transmission has to gather the information that
was otherwise in the torrent file, when Transmission is doing that
it shows the download in red with a magnet icon)? It's not added?
If so, is there any error message? Please provide more

then there were three...), in this case TVShows is working properly
but either the torrent files/magnets are not working or there's an
issue with your torrent client.</p>

<p>Looking at one example in your log, HIMYM 9x05, the torrent
TVShows downloaded has 23k seeds at this moment. I checked my own
log and my TVShows downloaded the same file in the usual time. So
the issue is definitely related to your setup. This doesn't mean
you have something misconfigured, we have had reports in the past
where Transmission had a similar behavior (usually in older Macs, I
did in fact experience it in an old PowerMac I used as a download
server). Just try any other torrent client (uTorrent, Vuze...) to
confirm it.</p>
<p>We don't have a solution, it's a strange issue but since the
torrent is working, we can't do anything about it. Sorry for the

I experienced the same problems at first but a reboot of my new
macbook (2013) problems where gone. Maybe the site being down has a

thepiratebay.se (TPB) has been offline since it was raided on Dec
9, 2014. <a href=

According to TorrentFreak</a>, there's no resolution currently in
site.</p>
<p>The TVShowsApp app on your computer downloads feeds for each
show from the TVShowsApp website. For example, the default feed for
The Big Bang Theory is at <a href=
"http://tvshowsapp.com/feeds/The%20Big%20Bang%20Theory.xml">http://tvshowsapp.com/feeds/The%20Big%20Bang%20Theory.xml</a>
If you look at that URL, you'll notice that all of the links to
individual episodes are pointing to <a href=
"http://torrents.thepiratebay.se/">http://torrents.thepiratebay.se/</a>....
Since that site currently doesn't exist, any of the existing feeds
simply won't work. This isn't a problem with the TVShowsApp per se,
it's just because TPB sites are down.</p>
<p>The second problem is that the TVShowsApp site can't update
their own feed files with new episode data, again because TPB site
is offline.</p>
<p>So, how do we work around this? While I've been a loyal
TVShowsApp user for years, waiting for a fix is too frustrating for
my ADD self. I'm going to give Catch (<a href=
"https://github.com/mipstian/catch/releases">https://github.com/mipstian/catch/releases</a>)
a try, which uses <a href=
"http://showrss.info/">http://showrss.info/</a> for it's feeds.

I have downloaded it and it sort of works. I can subscibe to my
shows but I cant downlaod any of the episodes becuase it keeps
saying I have network errors but my internet is working perfectly
normal. And I have checked the prefrences and I ticked the
"prioritize magnets" box but when I try again, it still doesnt
work.<br>

For anyone else interested, TVShows does work, just not with their
pre-loaded subscriptions. You have to add custom subscriptions

I created an account with showRSS (was using TVShows2) and have
chosen a show to follow, changed the feed settings as you suggested
but not sure where to "copy the link" too. Also I play back my
media vis Plex on my Mac streaming through my Ruku to my
TV.......will that still work as is or do I have to change more
settings?<br>
