Brooklyn Nine Nine not downloading
Hi
Brooklyn Nine Nine aired its second episode last night, but is not working here on TVShows.
Is this because you've called the show 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' but the scene are capturing it as 'Brooklyn Nine Nine' (i.e. no hyphen between the two Nines?

Hi John,
Yes, it's probably because of the naming. When we add to the list shows that haven't premiered yet, we "guess" the naming conventions the uploaders will assign to the shows. Sometimes we miss, so we have to "readjust" the search query after the first episode airs. However, this has to be done by the developer, so I'll add this to his queue... but I don't know when he will be able to do so, so in the meantime you may want to add it as a custom show so you don't miss any episode, you can do it by following the instructions from our knowledge base. Here's a feed with the aired episodes.
We'll notify you when the feed is fixed via this support ticket, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Cristina
Thanks ever so much for coming back - I'd totally forgotten about creating custom feeds as I've not had to do it for ages!
John

FWIW, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D appears to be having the same issue. The workaround suggested by Cristina works.

Thanks James, we are aware of that too. Here's a feed you can use for the moment ;)

Crazy Ones has the same problem. The upload name seems to be The Crazy Ones

Thanks Dave for reporting, we'll look into that too. Here's a feed you can use for the moment ;)

Same for Eastbound & down. I think the problem is with the "&"/"and".

Thanks Yotam for reporting, this case is strange because season 3 was already being uploaded with "and" in the title...
I have only been able to generate an HD feed for sceneline uploads.

The feed posted for Agents of SHIELD didn't work for me. I had to download manually again this week.
Support Staff 11 Posted by Cristina Gómez on 09 Oct, 2013 07:08 PM
Hi Jeremy,
The feed I posted is the one I'm using, so it works. Is it possible that you checked the HD option? The feed I posted only contains SD items so if you subscribe in HD it will take longer to download the episodes because it will wait a little for the HD version.
I also posted the instructions to create your own feeds if you have requirements other than mine ;)

Hi. I deleted it and started again using your feed, still nothing. I tried re-doing it by hand, tried a few different users... Yahoo pipes can't seem to find the show.

Try this I got yahoo pipes to work.

Hi Jeremy,
Both the feed provided by david walters and mine provide the same results. Is it possible that you're trying to use the feed on a company network that may block access to certain sites?
15 Posted by Jeremy on 11 Oct, 2013 12:10 AM
All other TV shows I have put in work correctly. I put in the into for a custom RSS and no episodes show up in the list. I was finally able to get a pipe using eztv but it's the same... no shows in the list. I wonder if it's something to do with me using Mavericks. I've also had it crash 4 times.

Hi Jeremy,
Can you try it now? I think Yahoo! Pipes has had some hiccups this past weekend, since my last reply I've tried the same feeds on different locations and sometimes it worked and sometimes the feed was blank (then I would try any show on the Pipe and it would return no results, with the same query working on other locations... really weird). I just tried on a computer/network in which it didn't work last time and it's returning results for any show, so I suppose it's working ok now ;)
(the crashings may be related to Mavericks, we haven't tested TVShows on the new OS yet)

Tried again just now and nothing happens. When I pasted in the PIPE info into Feed URLs, the episode info should fill in below but it doesn't.

Whoops... I just tried the original feed instead of the one that David posted... this time when I pasted it in, it showed episodes 3 and 4 (Oct. 15, tonight) in the list. I subscribed to that one. Nothing shows up in the list when I click on it now, so I'll have to see later tonight if it worked.

Hi Jeremy,
I have been using the original feed I posted since episode 2 and this morning (GMT+2) I had the episode ready to watch. The feed shows the 4th episode both in SD and HD, so it should have been downloaded for you too. If not, please check in another location/computer...
20 Posted by Jeremy on 16 Oct, 2013 06:22 AM
It actually came up 3 times tonight for the same episode. In all 3 cases it was the AVI version. I prefer MP4 (which is how most are delivering it now) so I cancelled each time and went online to find the MP4.
Support Staff 21 Posted by Cristina Gómez on 16 Oct, 2013 06:52 AM
Hi Jeremy,
The multiple downloads is normal for custom subscriptions (it downloads every new item in the feed, according to the selected quality).
I just checked the feed and there are 4 available versions in SD: 3 are in avi, but one is mp4. When I woke up this morning I had the mp4 and one of the avis. For 3 weeks now, it has always downloaded the mp4 version first.
Maybe you can try this feed for EZTV uploads, this feed has only two versions of the episode, SD in mp4 and HD in mkv.

Thanks, that one appears to work. I will know for sure next week I guess! Thanks again!

Hi Jeremy,
Don't tell anyone, but I think the developer will be able to fix the standard feed this weekend ;)

Seems like it's still broken. :/

Hi guys!
Just discovered TVShow and I must say it's a great app!
I had difficulties to get a feed working on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, found this thread and the link to a Yahoo! Pipes feed.
Sadly thepiratebay.org is down at the moment (or is it?), so I took the liberty to clone the feed and enhance it a bit. Now you can change the source, and use for example thepiratebay.sx.
I didn't understand how this feeds ensure to get all results, as the PirateBay's search results are paged, and the Yahoo! Pipes feed only processes the first page (maybe including this pipe in a loop for all result pages would help?). So the feed below only gets latest results matching your query (which should not be a problem if TVShow app checks it regularly).
http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=d4d7f739831ff240500510b9e9041a64&_render=rss&filter=Marvels+Agents+of+S+H+I+E+L+D&piratebayUrl=thepiratebay.sx&userName=eztv
Enjoy!

It didn't work for me this week, but it worked last week.
27 Posted by Jeremy on 23 Oct, 2013 04:55 AM
Spoke too soon... rebooted and tonight's episode showed up.
28 Posted by Sto on 23 Oct, 2013 05:04 AM
Hey Jeremy,
As I wrote above, the feed didn't work because thepiratebay.org was down. It looks like the site starter to work again a few minutes ago, and the feed works too (though the old feed, not mine, has problem parsing some dates such as "40mins ago", or Today, which I fixed in my copy).

Hi all,
First of all, sorry the developer couldn't fix the feeds... now he's focused on updating TVShows to work on Mavericks, let's hope he can get back to this afterwards.
Thanks Sto for your alternative Pipe.
