Updating Show Information just doesnt work/connect
I've installed the software and the list of shows appears ok. When I click on any show, the Updating Show Information appears but nothing is ever retrieved - even though it appears to be searching.
Also, when I click the check update button, I get an update error. It's almost as though the Internet connection is blocked but everything else works just fine (ie. links to the website etc). I just cant get it to work!
I've just updated to Lion.

Hi 7th2nd,
Are you using a proxy or firewall? Little Snitch maybe? You need to allow internet access to System Preferences and TVShows in order to let TVShows connect to the internet.

Thankyou! I didn't realise I had to allow Internet access for System Prefs. I was just checking TV Shows Helper in Little Snitch. Problem solved!
Thankyou so much. I'm looking forward to trying out TVShows properly!
Thanks again and Happy New Year.

I have the same problem and I am not running any firewall. I am on OSX 10.6.8 - please see the attached screen

Same problem as Tarique Sani reported. "Updating Show Information" is taking too long. It doesn't seem to be working. I am not running any firewall also.

It's working now.

Tarique, can you try again now? We had a problem that caused feeds to not load, it's been fixed now.
If it's still stuck on that page, can you attach the log? It's in the About tab -> View logs.
