Unable to download – Cannot connect

Hey everyone,

I'm having a problem with subscriptions on a private tracker. The RSS feed I use points to torrent URLs like this:
http://privatetracker.com/torrents.php?action=download&id=890557

As you can see, it doesn't link directly to the .torrent file, however when I click on it, it downloads just as if it would.
This feed seems to work in other applications, such as in µTorrent's built-in Smart Feeds, but not in TVShows 2.
I attached the error message I get whenever I try to download using this subscription.

Any thoughts on how to solve this?

    Hi rale09,

    I don't know, maybe there is an error with the torrent format or we are checking wrongly if the downloaded file is a torrent. Without knowing the exact torrent it is difficult to solve it :/

    Can you please send us the actual .torrent file that TVShows should download?

    Here's a .torrent file as an example, but it happens with all torrents downloaded from this tracker.

    Hi again,

    I see no problem with that .torrent, the rss format should be the issue then. Can you please send us your log? Click on the about tab and then click on "View Logs".

    Hi again Rale,

    Unfortunately TVShows cannot download the torrent because your private tracker checks that you are logged in when you attempt to download a .torrent, instead of checking your IP.

    So right now it is impossible for TVShows to work with your tracker. Maybe in the future we can get the cookies from the Safari cache so it may work if you are logged in, but I don't know how hard it will be to implement.
