Getting following error: "Cannot connect. Please try again later or check your internet connection."
The tv show in question is "The Cafe". I am able to visit Pirate Bay website with my browser and download the torrent and video file manually.

Hi Peter,
The torrent files for the HD version (the ones that we have in the feed) are no longer available (the first season aired a year and a half ago, sometimes this happens), that's why you can't download them from the app. I'll add this to the developer queue so he can take a look, but since the issue is with past (and old) episodes, don't expect a quick fix ;)
