Preset shows file appears to be corrupted?

hi I am trying to update my show list and I think I'm getting a corrupted Preset shows file, it is the current version of the pref panel and it seems to not be getting a show list, when I click the "add show" I can see a thinking grey circle... and it crashes when I hit the refresh button...
Any clues?

    additionally, I just backed up subscriptions file, removed and reinstalled the app and the issue is still here.
