Hi Manuel,
Sorry for the late reply, I believe this was solved over twitter but I'll leave the answer here for future reference.
.rar files are not video files, you need to extract them first with an app like The Unarchiver or UnRarX (I'd go with The Unarchiver, less errors). Then you will get a .mkv file which is the actual video that you can play on VLC.

Hi Cristina,
Actually im still having problems, VLC dose let me watch rar files i think it just extracts it by it self but the problem seams to be part of the individual files since on the problematic files i have downloaded have the same error on all of the program such as VLC, UnRarX and The Unarchiver. they all give me the same error log half way through extracting it.
Its not all the downloads that do this, so far every episode of Girls i have downloaded, some 30 rock episodes and some once upon a time, all in HD.

Hi Manuel,
It's strange, as I told you over twitter I downloaded the episode of 30 Rock that was giving you trouble and The Unarchiver extracted it ok. If you give me more examples of specific episodes I can try them also, but I don't think this is related to TVShows or the releases it downloads. What torrent manager do you use?
One more thing: do you use magnets or torrent files? It shouldn't matter, but if I'm trying to reproduce the issue I'll use your setting.

Hi Cristina,
Season 2 episode 2 of Girls is an example, weirdly enough episode 3 works perfectly, i even re downloaded and the same error happens, and yea i do use magnet.

Hi Manuel,
Sorry for the late reply. I downloaded that Girls episode and The Unarchiver extracted it without any errors. So it definitely the files aren't corrupted, I don't know what's causing your errors :(
