Folder/Subfolders 'created by TVShows are not where the shows end up
Hi,
First of all, I want to thank you (and Adam Randall - say hi for
me, we used to work together) for the TVShows app.
This second version is much improved over the original, and I use
it all the time (again) - now that it's being supported again.
I just sent you a $15 donation through PayPal - I hope you got
it.
So, here's the problem.
I have told TVShows, in it's preferences, to download any torrents
- using Transmission - into my Downloads directory (actually a
subdirectory in Downloads, named "_Transmission (temp)".
Here's a link to a screenshot for how I set up the
preferences..
http://www.screencast.com/t/OKYMY9gMhGd
When a TV show is downloaded ( let's say it's "Fringe S01E01" for this example ), it immediately creates the following folder structure in the "_Transmission (temp)" directory..
Fringe.S01E01.whatever
-- Season 1 -- -- Fringe.S01E01.whatever.avi
But the file is still being downloaded into the "_Transmission (temp)" root level directory, and not into the Season 1 directory that it created.
Any thoughts on this issue?
Thanks so much, once again, for your help and the wonderful TVShows app.

Hi Timothy,
I see in your preferences screenshot that you have checked the "prioritize magnets" option. This is not compatible with the "save each show in its own folder" feature (the UI is a bit buggy, if you uncheck the magnets option and check it again the incompatible features will become greyed out).
The two features are not compatible because the folders feature works if you have "same as torrent" as the destination folder in Transmission, but since you are using magnets, there is no torrent file and if you had that destination folder in Transmission it would ask you where to save each file.
If you have access to The Pirate Bay, you should uncheck the magnets option and set "same as torrent" in Transmission. But keep in mind that we don't know what TPB's plans are for torrent files (they don't even show the torrent link in their site, all torrent links were broken for almost a week when they moved to the cloud a month ago...), if in the future they remove them altogether you will have to turn magnets on again and the folders feature wouldn't work.
