Hi,
I recently downloaded this app onto my macbook.
How ever i have looked for tv shows, subscribed and i am still unable to download any tv shows.
Have i done something wrong, how can i download?

    hasn't downloaded anything for about 3 weeks now, after working normally for a few months... whats up? am using eztv, so the shows are available, just not being picked up by my TVshows subscriptions...

    Hi all,

    Paris, can you provide more detail? Which shows are you subscribed to? Have you tried manually downloading an episode from the app? (if you click the show icon you will get an episode list, there's an arrow next to each episode... click it to manually download the episode) Also, can you send us the log? (About tab -> View logs, please paste the content into a text file and attach it to the message)

    dylan, you say that you are using EZTV, but if you're using the preset show list you're not really using EZTV but "whatever we put in the feeds" (which is currently mostly The Pirate Bay with a bit of EZTV). Are you maybe using custom subscriptions? In any case, are the episodes available in the app or not even there? If they are, can you also try manually download an episode?

    Hi, I am subscribed to Pretty Little Liars, and i ahve tried downloading it that way but it still seems to not be working. I did get one epsiode that came up in my downloads but when i clicked on it it said something about torrents?

    Hi Paris,

    Is it possible that you don't have any torrent client? TVShows doesn't actually download the episodes, it only downloads torrent files, you need a torrent client to download the actual episodes. You may want to take a look at Transmission. Please check our knowledge base on how to properly configure it.

    Also, there are a lot of errors trying to download the torrent files, that can be solved by checking the "prioritize magnets" option in TVShows.
