TVShows not finding the earliest posted torrents
I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the program but I am noticing torrents of the TV shows I have subscribed to becoming available on torrent hosting sites for download long before TVShows finds/begins to download them. Sometimes hours before. Take tonight for example, I knew that 4 TV shows I subscribe to aired new episodes tonight. I came home and noticed not a single show had begun to download through TVShows (TVShows had not even updated the latest episode info). I went online and searched for the torrents and found all 4 shows ready for download, one of them had been posted nearly 2 hours before. I use TVShows for the convenience of not having to search for every show, but if I am able to get the shows hours before TVShows gets them I will go back to manually searching for them. Is there a specific reason TVShows takes such a long time to find torrents? Can i do anything to have it find the first available torrents posted for the shows I subscribe to?

Hi Cory,
Sorry for the late reply, your message was incorrectly flagged as spam :(
The preset list has episodes from trusted sources in EZTV and The Pirate Bay, so TVShows doesn't download the first available torrent but the first trusted one (from one of our sources). Also, to prevent overloading our server, the feeds are cached every 1-2 hours so that may cause a slight delay too. The main goal of TVShows is convenience (not having to manually search the episodes), and our priority is trusted content over speed.
If you don't like the preset list you can add custom shows via RSS feeds (but the sites where you find the torrents have to offer RSS feeds... or you can create them from TPB uploads, following the instructions from our knowledge base).
