I don't want to download mp4s
Hi.
I like TVShows very much and I thank you for it. I like to download my shows in HD format. For me that means matroska files with usually double the size (or more) of the avi files.
However, lately TVShows downloads mp4 files and as I've read they are considered HD. Well 250 MB for a 40 minute episode is NOT HD by my book. And it does that while there is a HD version available. And if I click on the download button next to the episode it says that I should check my internet connection.
But it doesn't do it all the time. Many times it downloads an mkv or the corresponding rar files. How can I make sure that it will always download the 720p version (mkv)?
Thank you!
Michalis

Hi Michalis,
I should explain two key aspects of TVShows regarding SD and HD:
This week TPB has moved to the cloud, breaking their torrent links in the process. This caused most shows to "not work" (that's why you got the "no internet connection" message), unless you had magnets activated in TVShows. Just today it seems that the torrent links started to work again, and so your TVShows has probably downloaded everything available.
So in normal circumstances, TVShows will only download mkv files (or rar files containing a mkv one), unless there is no mkv available in 18 hours. If you really only want mkv, you can expand that timeout (here's how) or find feeds that only carry HD content and add them as custom shows.
