No pictures
When adding new shows, the pictures do not show up. All I can see is that the show has been added but with a white image rather than one for the show. Any fix for this? cheers

Images are downloaded from TheTVDB.com, maybe it was down when you added those shows, can you access it now? If you can, just delete the blank images and TVShows will download them again.
The images are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/TVShows 2/Cache (you may need to copy that in the Finder Go -> Go to folder menu option, since the Library is hidden in Lion).
